Plan of Attack

Once I fully read the proposal more times that won for the first report I will be able to come up with a more detailed plan of attack for this assignment. Because obviously this is just a starter report. But first off I want address Margie Baillys' wants by increasing her customer base to college students. I plan to use a lot of the first plan into my new one. I will need a lot of the old one to make sure I portray the right things to my audience. I need to make sure I offer a lot of information as well to my plan and make sure I do it in a professional matter as well. I would incorporate their idea of using coupons into my report. The use of a coupon is a very efficient and effective way of getting people to come to your business. I would probably incorporate one of the slogans they came up with in the same ad where you can find the coupon on. The slogan is a good way to catch someones' eye and keep it in their head. Like for example we know multiple slogans like Nike (just do it), we always convey some sort of slogan with a product type. I would also have to incorporate their recommendation of researching further into which type of research method will be the most cost effective, efficient way to reach many college students and have the greatest impact on them. I would also want to incorporate the survey results with my report. Meaning I need to make sure the survey results correspond with what I propose is the best research method to use in getting the most college students to the Fargo theatre. I would possibly have to do some further research into which marketing research type would work best. For example does Thundar Radio, The Spectrum, posting flyer's up on bulletin boards in the Union or any combination of the three is the best way to get to the largest group of college students in the most effective, cost efficient ways.

Once I earn my degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Management, from North Dakota State University I plan to pursue my career goals of getting a job in the field of insurance. I will probably start off being an insurance appraiser of auto damage. Then eventually work my way up to being an insurance salesman. Starting pay of an insurance appraiser of auto damage is probably around $40,000 is my guess while looking at the graphs on: http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Insurance_Appraiser%2c_Auto_Damage/Salary . Here is another example of a website that answers the pay of an insurance salesman and I consider the answer reliable because the stats come directly from the U.S. Department Of Labor. Then when I become an insurance salesman starting pay would be around $40,000-$300,000 depending upon how much you sell because your pay is basically of off commission. I would like to stay in the city of Fargo if I found a job because I was born here and my parents live here and I like the town. I know of these dollar amounts from the website and from my dad because he is an insurance salesman for Wells Fargo Insurance. I consider the online information reliable because the information comes from individual people who have reported their pay to the website. And I consider my dad's information reliable because he is in the field and I trust him and he's my dad. The type of training you receive lasts until you retire. My dad for example is required to go to training seminars for two weeks every year, two different seminars across the nation that last a week a piece.
